Sherena Samuel — Family Nurse Practitioner DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, CNE
Sherena is the founder and owner of DocNP Telehealth. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of Cincinnati and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at The University of Alabama. With 20 years of nursing experience, she provides extensive knowledge to our team.
Sherena is a highly skilled and passionate nurse practitioner with a diverse adult and pediatric care background. With extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, she has developed a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare field and a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Throughout her career, she has acquired expertise in various specialties, including telemetry, pain management, medical-surgical, trauma, orthopedic, and retail health. One of the highlights of Sherena's nursing journey has been her
teaching experience in academia, where she had the privilege to educate and mentor future nurses.
She is originally from South Carolina and resides in North Carolina. When not treating patients, Sherena loves spending time with her family and friends. She is a food and music enthusiast and enjoys attending live concerts, traveling, and volunteering.
